Noblesse Oblige
Clarification EDIT: It appears the gg tracker is unreliable and their fansub was only the HD version (which depending on computer specs may not be very playable) . This will be a faster and better torrent of their batch. And Frostii is almost done with an SD version. If the MKV files will not play you will need to install codecs (I would recommend installing CCCP and playing them with the included Media Player Classic).
Wow, what a phenomenal show Eden of the East [Higashi no Eden] was. Mystery, drama, suspense, romance. And none of it felt shoehorned in. In a way it's a standard 'guy with amnesia meets girl and needs to find his identity' plot but that's really only the base for a much more intriguing story. It's a show which takes so many risks but somehow still ends up feeling cohesive. Not to mention the amazing animation. Production I.G. put in an incredible attention to detail that shows in everything from the opening theme animation to the ending video. And it's a show that really could have alienated the audience at certain points were it not for it's masterful pacing, but it ended up being a show I doubt I'll forget.
Even if you're someone who has only occasionaly enjoyed a subbed anime I would recommend this one, definitely the best show of the season (it just finished airing in Japan but you can easily grab a batch torrent from gg). And it's the type of plot that could be relatively popular in America if it were live action, so it's not some mecha or moe BS (both of which I love, but I can understand most people's disinterest in).
Oh and here's the fantastic OP and ED thrown in for good measure.

Looks cool, sounds cool, i'll look for it!
I started watching just because it had Oasis as the intro theme, but it's not bad so far (ep5). Good call!
