Oh how did I ever doubt you Regina? By the time the opener "The Calculation" came to the chorus my fears for this album were already assuaged. Sure, it's not the same music she was making when she released 11:11, but it's still amazingly beautiful and better than most music you can find out there. Anyways, just my little blog to say check out Far by Regina Spektor when it releases in a week (or now if you have an internet connection), if you weren't planning on it already. It has a significant amount of her old quirkiness, new production values, and considerably more direct and personal lyrics.
And, oh my God -- Machine is so amazing. One of her best ever in my mind.
